China ’s support in sharing experience, developing diagnostic reagents and equipment to control the epidemic together with other countries is crucial to help countries with scarce health resources respond to the 2019 coronavirus disease epidemic.
China has passed the first peak period in the fight against the epidemic. The challenge now is to prevent the rebound of the epidemic after resuming work and returning to school. Before the emergence of group immunity, effective treatment or vaccines, the virus still poses a threat to us. Looking to the future, it is still necessary to reduce the risks of various populations through daily infection prevention measures taken in different places. Now we still cannot relax our vigilance and take it lightly.
Recalling my visit to Wuhan in January, I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my respect to clinical medical personnel and public health workers who are struggling on the front line throughout China and the world.
